These liners are just as described - liners. I don't think you should buy them for any other use, as they aren't `overly sturdy'. They have stuck to the velcro on my motorcycle gloves a couple of times, and I wasn't sure they would come off in one piece!!
They have helped during cold weather bike trips - I live in Colorado & this winter just won't go away. I went over Vail Pass last week in sub-freezing weather (at highway speeds) and my hands were cold but still functional.
